Old Chinese men marry young Uyghur girls with the help of the government.

Young Uyghur girls are forced to marry older Han Chinese men amidst China's genocidal and forceful assimilation policies against Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities in Uyghurland continue.
The Photos of the newly “married” Han-Uyghur couple circulated online shocked and infuriated the already frustrated Uyghur diaspora. In the photos of the marriage certificate posted by the Han Chinese man to Douyin, the Chinese version of Tok Tok showed that the Chinese groom man seems as old as the Uyghur bride’s grandfather.
Uyghur Canadian activist Rukiya Turdush said on Twitter “
An old Chinese man married Uyghur teenage girl. many sources said: “ This is not the exceptional issue. raping kids in concentration camps could be common, we don’t know how many of them were taken as a wife. Any Chinese can take Uyghur kids from crowded kids concentration camps”.
Last August, VOA reported that the Chinese government called for 100 Uighur Women to ‘Urgently’ Marry Han Men.
China’s ultimate goal from forceful intermarriage between Han Chinese and Uyghurs:
The Chinese authorities insist that intermarriage between Uyghur women and Han Chinese could promote tolerance and peace in the region.
But Uyghurs believe that it is a part of CCP’s effort to exterminate the Uyghur identity and change the demographics of the Uyghur region.
Zumrat Dawut, 38, a Uighur female activist, told VOA that her neighbors, the Nurehmets from Mekit, Xinjiang, had to agree to wed their 18-year-old daughter to a Han Chinese out of fear that they could be sent to internment camps.
She told VOA that after her neighbors returned to Mekit, the father, Nurehmet, was sent to an internment camp on charges of religious extremism for growing a beard. The daughter, Ayjamal, had to work in a factory where a Chinese man approached her and took a picture with her.
